The best way to learn something...

is to DO IT.


Too often when practicing any skill, especially self defense, too much effort goes into the research, planning, reading, reading, more reading, internet surfing, looking for who's the "best" out there, which system or style has the most youtube hits, all that crap.

Instead, more time should be spent on DOING the techniques, practicing them against a partner to see if they work for you, and then deciding whether or not to pursue another means of instruction.
